Week of October 2nd - 6th

Schedule:

Monday and Tuesday - apply for college in the computer lab during English/LA class period
(During lunch throughout the week you can visit with Dixie Tech, Utah Tech, U of U, SUU, Marines, National Guard, and Paul Mitchell representatives in the commons)

Monday - Scholarship Presentation Room 209 @lunch

Wednesday - FAFSA Night (for seniors + parents to apply for financial aid for college, up to $6,895 this year)

Thursday - college application raffle winners announced

Where should I apply?

1 application = 1 raffle entry
If your entry is drawn as the winning ticket, you must prove that you applied to the college on that entry (ex: I applied to Utah Tech, Snow College, and Dixie Tech, and my Snow College entry was chosen. I need to show an email/confirmation page that I applied to Snow)
A person can only win one prize (if you have already won once and another one of your entries is drawn, we will draw again for a new winner)

Finished Applying? Next Steps:

Send your high school transcripts to all colleges you applied to (you will need to send them again once you graduate).
Send your CE transcripts from Utah Tech (if required).
Check your email often!! The colleges will reach out to you with what to do next for their school specifically.
Apply for housing (if you know for sure where you want to go).
If you are looking for scholarships, sign up for GoingMerry or check out the monthly scholarships on the College Access Advisor tab.
Apply for FAFSA! Many institutional scholarships now require the FAFSA.
