Register for the test:
- Pay $18.00 to the finance office or online - bring your receipt to the counseling center to sign up for your test date. We only have 40 tests so please register as soon as possible. The deadline to register is October 21st 2024.
- When you bring your receipt to the counseling center and register for a specific test date - you will be given your Student Guide - this has important information and a practice test. We highly recommend that you review the information and the practice test to help you prepare.
Prepare for the test:

- Review the test-taking advise and tips in your Student Guide
- Take the hard copy PSAT/NMSQT Practice Test #1 found in the middle of your Student Guide - time yourself and review what you miss - You can use the PSAT/NMSQT Practice Test #1 Scoring Guide to help you score your results.
- If you desire, take more Practice Tests from College Board
Taking the test:
- Make sure you eat a good breakfast and arrive at school in plenty of time to be in your testing room and ready to begin testing at 8:00 AM
- Review the Test Day Checklist to ensure you come prepared for the test
- Leave your phone and smart watches at home
