4. Apply to the colleges, universities and/or technical/trade schools of your choice
- Participate in College Application Week - October 4-8. We will help you fill out your college applications in your LA 12 class! If you don't have an Language Arts class, come see us in the counseling office that week.

- Have official transcripts sent from all previous schools. Request an SCHS Transcript
- If you have taken CE classes with Dixie State, after applying and acceptance, you need to request a DSU Transcript be sent to the institution you will be attending for articulation purposes
- Dixie State Concurrent Enrollment Students MUST reapply to DSU using the CE student specific waiver code CE2022

- Be sure ACT scores have been sent
- Pay application fee (some fee waivers available during College Application Week)
- Stay on top of DEADLINES
5. Apply for financial aid
- Fill out the FAFSA beginning October 1, 2021
- You will be using your 2020 taxes - so you will be eligible for the IRS data retrieval tool
- Fill out the FAFSA asap - funds are awarded on a "first come, first served basis."
- Attend our Financial Aid night October 6, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 pm in Room 207
6. Start looking for additional scholarships
- Scholarship search resources
- The amount of scholarship money you receive is proportional to the time you put in searching and applying
- If eligible for the Opportunity/Regents' Scholarship, application opens Nov 15th, 2021-Priority Deadline Dec 3rd, 2021-Final Deadline February 1, 2022
